What it measures
The score compares where the same clip, made with the same effort, is most likely to be paid the most, among the live campaigns of one type. It ranks realizable pay, not the headline rate. A campaign with a high rate, weak footage and a small budget ranks below one with a fair rate and footage that gets views.
How we rank walks through the math in five steps, each with its number. This page lists what the live model reads, what caps it, what it leaves unscored and how it changes.
What it reads
- The rate per 1,000 views on each platform. A clip is priced for TikTok, or for the best paying of Instagram, YouTube and X when TikTok does not pay.
- The minimum views, the minimum payout and the cap per clip.
- The board's fee on CPM pay, from its public terms.
- How you join, open or by application, and the approved and rejected counts where a board shows them.
- The budget, its total, spent and left, and how fast it is spent, from our own reads of the board.
- The board's payout record, where its pages show when campaigns were paid out.
- The campaign's source footage. Its Clip Potential sets the views a clip can expect, and its readiness the minutes a clip takes.
- For logo and music campaigns, how fast the budget pays creators, the niche, the logo's size, post rules and the effort an edit takes.
- The board's own daily views and approvals.
- For UGC, logo and music campaigns, the views their approved posts get, then the views of the brand's example posts. Never Clip Potential, because those creators film their own content.
Each campaign is priced over 2,000 runs of its uncertain numbers and ranked on a cautious case, so a campaign with shaky numbers never ranks on its best day.
What caps it
A cap is the most a campaign can score while a rule holds. The lowest cap that holds wins, and a campaign under a cap below 80 is never ALPHA.
| Rule | At most |
|---|---|
| Pays little for the work | 79, 59 or 39 |
| Budget likely used within a day | 39 |
| Not live, or too little budget left | 79 |
| Clipping footage rated LOW | 59 |
| Clipping footage not rated yet | 79 |
| Only short brand inserts to use | 59 |
| A gambling logo | 59 |
| No views or approvals on the board for 30 days | 39 |
| No views or approvals on the board for 14 days | 59 |
| A rate far above the market, labeled Too good to be true | 49 |
| A budget that covers few views at its rate | 59 |
| No brief, no posts after a week and an organizer the board does not verify | 59 |
Budget pace then moves the score a few points up for a new campaign and down when spending slows or stops. At most 10% of a type's live campaigns are ALPHA at once. A campaign with no approved posts, views or payouts yet ranks nearer the middle of its market until it shows proof. A proven campaign keeps its rank.
Not scored yet
These show SCORING in place of a number until there is something to price.
- Contests, which pay prizes by rank.
- CPM auctions, whose rate floats with every clipper's views until the pool closes.
- Flat pay per post, until 20 or more such campaigns are live with a stated amount.
- A campaign with no public rate, or with a rate on none of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X.
- A campaign we have not read a clean copy of yet.
Missing numbers
Boards show different fields. A missing number is never read as zero.
- A board whose terms state no fee is counted at 10%.
- A missing minimum or cap takes the typical value on that board, from 5 or more of its campaigns, else the market's.
- A missing budget is priced as if 90% of a clip's views get paid, and the score's confidence drops.
- Rules hidden until you join leave approval to the board's own record, and confidence drops.
- A campaign not read within 3 times its usual interval scores at low confidence.
Model versions
The site shows alpha-v1.6, live since 3 Oct 2026.
- alpha-v1.6. Credibility and proof. A rate far above the market stops at 49, a budget that covers few views at its rate at 59, both at 39. A campaign without approved posts, views or payouts yet ranks nearer the middle of its market.
- alpha-v1.5. Reads the board's own daily views and approvals. 14 days with none caps a campaign at 59, 30 days at 39.
- alpha-v1.4. Logo and music campaigns get their own factors: how fast the budget pays creators, the niche, the logo's size, post rules and edit effort. A gambling logo stops at 59.
- alpha-v1.3. Caps by content. A clipping campaign whose footage is rated LOW stops at 59, one whose footage is not rated yet at 79, and one that only gives short brand inserts at 59.
- alpha-v1.2. Reads every source video a brief links, a long video by its first 15 minutes, and counts the time it takes to find a good moment.
- alpha-v1.1. Adds the source footage. Clip Potential sets the views a clip can expect, and how ready the footage is sets the minutes a clip takes.
- alpha-v1.0. The base model. What one clip is paid after the minimum, the cap and the board's fee, times the approval odds, the share of views paid before the budget is used and the board's payout record, ranked against live campaigns of the same type.
A new version runs in shadow next to the live one, scoring the same campaigns, before it goes live. A version's parameters never change once it has scored a campaign. A change is a new version.
What it is not
The score compares campaigns at one moment. It is not a forecast of anyone's pay, and it moves as a campaign's budget, rules and evidence move. Earnings claims says how we state pay. This page follows the model live since 3 Oct 2026.
Common questions
What does an Alpha Score of 80 mean?
80 or more is ALPHA, the top tier. A campaign earns it after 2 runs in a row at 80 or more and keeps it until it falls below 77. At most 10% of a type's live campaigns are ALPHA at once.
What are the Alpha Score tiers?
ALPHA is 80 to 100, SOLID 60 to 79, FAIR 40 to 59 and LOW under 40.
Which model version is live?
The site shows alpha-v1.6, live since 3 Oct 2026.
How often is the Alpha Score updated?
Every 10 minutes, from our newest read of each campaign. A busy campaign is read every 10 minutes and a quiet one every 6 hours.
Why can a campaign with a high rate score low?
The score ranks likely pay, not the rate, and caps hold it down. A rate far above the market stops at 49. Clipping footage rated LOW stops at 59. 30 days with no views or approvals on the board stops at 39.
