# Does AI-made content get paid on clipping campaigns?

115 of 856 live campaign briefs we read rule out AI in some form, 105 AI visuals or voices and 19 AI clip tools, while none of the 5 clipping platforms we checked bans AI edited clips in its public terms at 23:35 UTC on 30 Oct 2026. Checked 23:35 UTC

## The short answer

Mostly, the tool is not what a brand judges. It judges whether the clip follows the brief, looks like real effort and is honest about what it shows. A clip cut with an AI tool from the brand's own footage, with a real hook and the required tags, is judged like any other. A clip with generated scenes, a cloned voice or words a person never said is where the rules start to bite.

## What live briefs say

Live campaigns whose brief we read, 856 in all. A brief counts once per rule, and one brief often states several.

No AI visuals counts briefs that ban AI generated visuals, voices, avatars or deepfakes. No AI clip tools counts briefs that ban AI clip generators, repurposing tools or a named clip app. AI named elsewhere counts briefs that mention AI only outside their bans.

## What the platforms say

Each platform's public terms, rules and help pages, read on 30 Oct 2026. A quote is the page's own words.

- [Promote.fun terms of service](https://promote.fun/terms-of-service)
- [Clipstake terms and conditions](https://www.clipstake.com/terms-and-conditions)

None of the 5 clipping platforms we read has a public rule for or against AI edited clips. Each leaves approval to the brand behind the campaign, and each bans the things an AI clip can still do wrong: bots, duplicates, low effort and edits that misrepresent a person.

## What the apps say

TikTok, YouTube and Meta ask for a label on realistic AI content. YouTube and Facebook also hold back pay or reach from content they see as mass produced or unoriginal.

## Before you post

- Read the brief's bans for AI visuals, AI voices, clip tools and low effort reuploads. If it names one, follow it.
- Cut from the footage the campaign gives you. Generated scenes are footage from elsewhere, which many briefs ban.
- Never change what a real person said or make them appear to say something new.
- Turn on the app's AI label when the clip shows realistic generated or altered people or scenes.
- Add something of your own: the moment you chose, a hook, captions, a tight edit. An untouched auto cut reads as low effort.

741 live briefs of 856 we read say nothing against AI. Our [AI tools comparison](https://clippingalpha.com/learn/best-ai-clipping-tools) covers what each editor does, the [planning guide](https://clippingalpha.com/learn/plan-clips-from-a-brief-with-ai) how to read a brief's bans, and [server cuts](https://clippingalpha.com/learn/cut-clips-with-ai) start from the campaign's own footage.

## Common questions

### Do clipping campaigns accept AI-made clips?

Most briefs say nothing about AI. 115 of 856 live briefs we read rule it out in some form at 23:35 UTC on 30 Oct 2026, so the brief you join decides.

### Does Content Rewards allow AI clips?

Its terms name AI only for intimate images of a real person made without consent, read on 30 Oct 2026. The brand behind each campaign approves or rejects every submission.

### Do I have to label AI content on TikTok or YouTube?

Yes, when it looks real. Both apps ask creators to label realistic AI generated or altered content. YouTube needs no label for minor edits or content that is clearly not real, read on 30 Oct 2026.

### Are AI captions or auto cuts banned?

Rarely by name. 19 of 856 briefs rule out AI clip tools or repurposing tools, while 243 rule out low effort reuploads, which an untouched auto cut can be.

### Can an AI-made clip lose its pay after posting?

Yes. The brand can reject it under its brief, and 2 of the 5 platforms we checked, Vyro and Promote.fun, have rules against deepfakes or edits that change what a real person said.
