5. Choose Make clips on a campaign, or [ask for a plan](https://clippingalpha.com/learn/plan-clips-from-a-brief-with-ai). Each clip comes with its source, cut range, moment score, a hook idea and how well it crops to 9:16.
6. Choose Cut, or ask to cut clips 1 to 3. One request cuts up to 5 clips into 1080 by 1920 MP4s with captions burned in.
7. Download each clip within 24 hours of it being ready. After that the file is deleted and the link stops working.
8. Post the clip from your own account with [the caption, tags and disclosure](https://clippingalpha.com/learn/ai-hooks-and-captions-for-clips) the brief asks for, then submit the post link on the campaign's clipping platform.

The server fetches the source, cuts your range, crops it to 9:16 at the centre, burns in captions from our transcript with any on-screen disclosure the brief asks for, and levels the loudness. A mix joins 2 to 4 segments from the campaign's videos into one 20 to 45 second edit with short crossfades, hook first, so it takes longer.

A daily total across every clipper also applies. When it is reached, cutting pauses for everyone until 00:00 UTC and the request says so. Nothing is charged for a request that is turned away.

## Check the brief first

The server cuts what you choose, but the brand decides what it pays for. Of 855 live campaign briefs we read, 19 (2%) rule out AI clip tools or repurposing tools, and 241 rule out low effort reuploads. Where a brief rules out clip tools, cut by hand from the same ranges.

Where it does not, treat the server's file as a first cut. Tighten the start, add your own hook text and check the captions before you post.
